MEET THE TEAM

(Co-founder and Director)

Over 30 years experience working in the field of health and wellbeing.

My aim is to connect people through nature practices to their authentic selves. I have been helping people for decades using a broad variety of modalities including Gestalt Therapy practices, Trauma healing, Journey work, medical botany and Forest Therapy. I assist people to make the journey inward with silence, nature and music allowing this to guide you back to your natural wisdom.

I love to create the space for people to return to their truth using science based nature experience and intuition.

I began my career as a highly trained professional dancer, working all over the world. Despite all my passion, my life on the stage was ended abruptly by a horrendous accident. During my battle to come to terms with the physical and emotional trauma, I focused all my energy on how fantastically intelligent the body is. Through my interest in working with nature, an amazing healing journey was discovered - much to the amazement of all the doctors and specialists working with me, both internationally and locally. After several years of rehabilitation, I was back on my feet - which was something of a miracle after I was told that I would never walk again. Through this experience, I discovered my new passion - I wanted to help others get back on their feet too, in every sense. As a dancer, I always had a special interest in the way that music and movement influenced cognitive development and emotional upliftment. To supplement my studies in that area, I began studying gestalt psychology. However, several years after opening my practice, I decided that I needed more knowledge to make a bigger difference and entered the world of medical botany. Using my 30 years of experience and qualifications in gestalt practices, trauma counselling, herbal medicine, functional medicine, forest therapy, as well as in movement and music therapy, I opened Growild.earth. As the director of Growild.earth, I now design unique and innovative wellbeing interventions based on the latest cutting edge research on nature and human health.

5+ years of mushroom cultivation experience

“For as long as I can remember I've had a deep fascination and love for nature, not only for its beauty and calming effects but also its medicinal applications. One of my earliest memories is the magic of foraging for porcini mushrooms in the pine forests near my childhood home. Crawling through the tangle of wind fallen trees to saw down a porcini mushroom, that felt larger than my small toddler body, using my mothers bread knife. It was experiences like these that lit the flame that would later ignite the burning passion and obsession that would come to shape my course of my life and career.

Through my own health struggles mushrooms become not only a mere topic of intrigue but also the key to my survival. While I have since weathered this storm it inspired me to take this experience and knowledge I gained to help others through their own personal battles that life inevitably throws at us. I want people to not just survive and stay afloat but feel empowered to ride the waves and set sail confidently towards their own goals and passions.”
